About me
With over two decades of experience ranging from molecular biology labs to middle school classrooms, Heather brings a unique blend of technical expertise and educational insight to her work. She currently serves as a middle school STEM educator on the Maine Mobile BIOLAB with Educate Maine, where she helps students across the state engage with hands-on science and technology experiences. Heather holds degrees in Secondary Science Education and Clinical Laboratory Science, and has taught learners of all ages in diverse settings. She currently holds certifications in K–8 general education, middle school science, secondary life science, and secondary physical science. Her passion lies in making science accessible, meaningful, and empowering, especially for students in rural and underserved communities.
